Paul Walker has been laid to rest in a small funeral this weekend. The Fast & Furious star died at the age of 40 in a car crash on November 30, 2013.
The actor's funeral was held on Saturday, December 14, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in L.A., and about 50 of Paul's family and friends gathered to pay their respects, according to Us Weekly.
"A few people got up and gave tributes to Paul," says a source. "It was hard for many people to talk. They were in tears and couldn't finish what they were saying."
The funeral reportedly lasted for about 40 minutes, and there was a large photo of Paul along with white flowers at his gravesite.
"It was a really sad day for so many people, and you could tell they just weren't ready to say goodbye," the source adds. "His parents were there, along with his brothers and some other family members. Everyone was hugging each other tight and didn't want to let go."
Paul has two brothers, Cody and Caleb; a sister, Ashley; and a 15-year-old daughter, Meadow. Cody, 25, is reportedly weighing an offer to fill in for Paul in the remaining scenes of Fast & Furious 7.
Our thoughts continue to go out to all of those who were close with Paul.
