Almost two months to the day Paul Walker died in a car accident on November 30, we’re now hearing the terms of the late actor’s will. At the time of his death at age 40, Paul was worth a reported $25 million. TMZ reports that he wants every penny to go to his daughter.
The site says they’ve gotten a copy of Paul’s will and the actor left his entire estate to Meadow, who is 15 years old.
Paul named his father as executor and his dad is petitioning the court to appoint Paul’s mother, Cheryl, as Meadow’s guardian and the guardian of the $25 million. According to TMZ, that’s what Paul’s will says he wanted.
Of course, when we’re talking about a sum this large, conflict could arise as details get settled. TMZ points out Meadow currently lives with her mother, Rebecca Soteros, a situation that will likely be upended if Grandma Cheryl gets guardianship. No word on what Rebecca, Cheryl, or Meadow herself make of the matter.
A court hearing is set for later this month with details to come as we get them.
Paul was laid to rest on December 14 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles with about 50 of his family and friends in attendance to pay their respects. “It was a really sad day for so many people, and you could tell they just weren’t ready to say goodbye,” a source said of the service.
Our thoughts are with Paul’s family as they continue to navigate life without their loved one.
