Family, friends, and fans of Peaches Geldof are still reeling from the news of her sudden death yesterday (April 7) at age 25. The young entertainer was found dead at her U.K. home in Kent and while police say there’s nothing suspicious about her passing, that hardly makes the hurt any less.
Tributes have been flooding in from around the world with Peaches’s older sister Fifi Trixibelle Geldof sharing her thoughts and a sweet childhood photo via her Instagram.
“My beautiful baby sister... Gone but never forgotten. I love you, Peaches x,” she wrote April 7 alongside a picture of the two sisters as children.
Peaches and Fifi’s father, performer and philanthropist Bob Geldof, released a statement yesterday after news of his daughter’s death broke: “Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. 'Writing ‘was’ destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?”
That statement closed with mention of Peaches’s two young sons with husband Tom Cohen. “Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken.”
