Original story (April 18, 2014):
This Monday will be a sad one for the family and friends of Peaches Geldof. The 25-year-old writer and model’s funeral will be held April 21 at St. Mary Magdalene and St. Lawrence Church in Davington, near Kent, according to E! News.
Peaches is being laid to rest at the same place she married Thomas Cohen two years ago — and where mother Paula Yates’s funeral was held in 2000 when she died of a heroin overdose.
The British socialite was found dead on April 7 in her Wrotham, Kent apartment. So far, the autopsy proved to be inconclusive and her death is still left unexplained — but toxicology reports are still forthcoming.
Peaches is survived by Thomas their two children, Astala, 23 months, and Phaedra, almost 12 months. In the final column published before her death in Mother&Baby, Peaches wrote that she had “the perfect life” because of the happiness her babies brought her.
“We are beyond pain,” her father, entertainer Bob Geldof, said. “She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest, and the most bonkers of all of us. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?”
We wish Peaches’s loved ones peace as they say goodbye.
