Legendary rapper Tupac Shakur died nearly two decades ago, and still a shroud of mystery surrounds his death. Nobody has been charged in the crime yet, and many — including Death row co-founder Suge Knight, who was with Pac at the time of his death — have alleged that the "Hail Mary" rapper is still with us. However, now-retired policeman Chris Carroll tells Us Weekly that he watched Tupac die slip into unconsciousness… and that he heard the music legend's last words: "F—k you."

Of course, there's context. Tupac was shot after watching a Mike Tyson fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on September 13, 1996, and Chris was the officer first at the scene. He opened Makaveli's car door, he says, and the blood-covered 25-year-old star fell into his arms.

"I’m looking at Tupac, and he’s trying to yell back at Suge, and I’m asking him, ‘Who shot you? What happened? Who did it?’" Chris remembers. "And he was just kind of ignoring me. He was making eye contact with me here and there, but he’s trying to yell at Suge."

All of a sudden, Chris says, the "Keep Ya Head Up" songwriter went from yelling to an eerie, at-peace calm. "And that's when I looked at him," he continues, "and said one more time, 'Who shot you?'"

And what do you think Tupac said when a police officer asked him to name names? If you said "f—k you," according to Chris, you'd be right.

What do you think — did the responding officer really hear Tupac's last words? Let us know your thoughts below.
