Baby Axl Jack hasn’t even hit the two-month mark, but proud parents Fergie and Josh Duhamel are already planning on a second child.

“[Parenthood] is the best thing ever,” Josh revealed to Access Hollywood at the Wallis Annenberg Inaugural Gala on October 17.  “[It’s] the best thing that’s ever happened to me. It’s fantastic.”

When asked if he and Fergie are hoping for an even bigger family, the 40-year-old actor replied enthusiastically. “Of course! Yeah, we’ve gotta move fast.”

However, that doesn’t mean Josh doesn’t have his reservations about welcoming another child. In fact, Axl has been such a joy to the happy couple, Josh is worried they’ll be less lucky the second time around.

“What's surprised me the most is how well behaved he is,” he explained to the Associated Press. “I was expecting a crying baby all the time and he's been a really mild-mannered. I think somehow biology, the universe, whatever, gives you like a pleasant baby first so that you have another one, procreate, and then the next one's a holy terror and then you really realize what being a new parent is all about," he joked.

Fatherhood has certainly brought some big changes in the life of the Transformers star, but he has every intention on keeping his career the same: “I’m not going to let that affect the way I make decisions creatively. I still want to push myself to do things [...] I never thought that I was able to do.”
