Actor Emile Hirsch has just welcomed his first prince!

Emile  the 28-year-old star of The Girl Next Door and the recent indie flick Prince Avalanche  just became a first-time father with a woman he had a brief fling with, according to Us Weekly.

The baby boy's name is Valor. The identity of the baby's mom has not been revealed, although she is said to be from Florida. 

News had just broken last month that Emile and the woman were expecting. The Daily News reported at the time that Emile and the woman are "not dating" but that he is "doing the right thing and will be taking care of her and his baby financially." 

Meanwhile, a source tells Us Weekly that Emile and the woman are still on good terms. "He's trying to be a good guy in the situation," says the source. "He still has love for the girl  it's just his schedule and life did not fit in with having a relationship."

Emile has previously had relationships with actresses Amanda Seyfried and Juno Temple. 

He has had a varied film career, earning critical praise for roles in films Into the Wild and Milk. He has also starred in Lords of Dogtown, Speed Racer, and the Oliver Stone drug drama Savages.
