Can you believe that Bindi Irwin is already a teenager? The daughter of Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin — who passed away tragically in 2006 — is now 15 years old. Gone are those adorable little pigtail braids we recognized so well. The Crocodile Hunter’s pint-sized daughter is now a little lady, and she’s got the composure, maturity and enthusiasm to match!

The Australian teengager recently sat down with E! Online to talk about her family’s ongoing work in animal conservation, and to share her memories of her late father.

She’s full of energy, but acts very mature and grown up. Bindi is not your average 15-year-old! The bright-eyed teen regales us with stories of what it’s like to grow up literally living in the middle of a zoo. “It took me until I was about three years old to realize that we didn't just come to the zoo every day, that we actually lived here.”

Watch the video on E! News.

She smiles. She laughs. Every moment of the video is adorable. And when she remembers her late father? Oh, emotions.

"He was the greatest dad on the planet,” Bindi says. “He was our inspiration, who we looked up to the most and, for us, we wanna carry on his legacy. We wanna make sure that his message of wildlife and conservation continues, because he was the world's greatest conservationist and so we never want that message to die."

With Bindi helping to advocate the cause, we’re pretty sure there’s no way that will happen!
