While Jessica Simpson was expecting babies Maxwell and Ace, she was slammed for how much weight she’d gained during her pregnancies. But Jessica’s not letting the critics slow her down — she’s lost crazy poundage after her second baby, and she’s feeling better than ever.

In her recent interview with USA Today, Jessica credited her weight loss to Weight Watchers (obviously), working out, and chasing her kids around. “With both kids, I'm running up and down my stairs a million times,” she said. “Kids can keep your metabolism going.”

Jessica also works with a personal trainer four days a week for 45 minutes each session, as well as hitting the gym on her own and walking regularly with fiance Eric Johnson.

“It does get old having people harping on how much you weigh or your body after pregnancy,” Jessica said. “I need to feel comfortable in my own skin. People are going to pick me apart no matter what I do. I'm always going to have critics out there who will make a story out of something.”

As far as her menu at home goes, she sticks to Weight Watchers’ PointsPlus program, and “has somebody who comes in and helps out” to prepare meals for the whole family that are healthy and follow her post-baby diet.

So now that Jessica’s back to what she weighed before she became pregnant with baby number two, is she all set for number three?

"I can't even think about being pregnant again right now,” Jessica said. "I would never say never."
