Talk about a giant milestone! Former NFL star and The Today Show correspondent Tiki Barber and wife Traci Lynn Johnson have welcomed their first child, according to Us Weekly. Score!
Traci gave birth to their baby girl, Brooklyn, on December 27. Tiki and Traci got married in July 2012 in NYC.
"We welcomed Baby Brooklyn into our family this afternoon," Traci tweeted. "We both couldn't be more happy and thrilled."
Tiki, 38, has four children from his previous marriage to Ginny Cha. Tiki had been married to Ginny for 11 years when he left her in April 2010, while Ginny was pregnant with their twin daughters.
Rumors had swirled that a still-married Tiki hooked up with Traci while she was a 23-year-old NBC intern, although the two have denied hooking up before Tiki and Ginny separated. Traci had also babysat for Tiki and Ginny's children, A.J., 11, and Chason, 9.
Tiki was a running back for the New York Giants from 1997 to 2006, during which he was named to the Pro Bowl three times. After his playing career, he briefly worked on Today and is currently a host for CBS Sports Radio's The Morning Show.
Tiki has made numerous other TV appearances. He has appeared as a guest judge on such shows as Project Runway, Chopped, and Iron Chef America.
Congrats to the happy family!
