Think it’s okay to mock an actress when she has a baby and suddenly her frame isn’t as rail-thin as it once was? Think again.

Actor Jay Mohr, known for roles in The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and Suburgatory, reportedly took a few jabs at his former Ghost Whisperer co-star Alyssa Milano during a radio interview after he worked with her at a recent NASCAR event.

“She was one of the presenters. ... She’s very tiny. In height,” Jay said, via New York Daily News. “It seems like she had a baby and said, ‘I don’t really give a s—’ ... I read it on her gut.” He later referred to the Mistresses actress as “Melissa what’s-her-name.” Ouch.

NYDN was quick to point out that Jay has two kids of his own, one with his current wife, actress Nikki Cox. (Nikki, we assume, didn’t commit the unspeakable crime of having a few extra pounds on her since giving birth.)

For Alyssa’s part, the former Charmed and Who’s The Boss star took the high road. She didn’t fire back an insult in exchange for his insult, but she definitely didn’t let Jay’s jab go unnoticed, either.

The actress, 41, later tweeted to her fans, “You're all lovely. Thank you for your kind words. #Appreciative.”

It took Jay almost a week to reply on Twitter. On January 2, he wrote, “'@perezhilton @alyssa_milano She's stunning. I mistakenly thought the absurdity of what I was saying would have ben[sic] taken as a joke. #fail

Oh, it was just a joke? Gotcha. Though... funny how no one else was really laughing.
