It’s not everyday that we get jealous of a seven-month-old baby. But little Everly Tatum born May 31, 2013 isn’t just any baby. She’s the daughter of Hollywood dreamboat Channing Tatum. And as it turns out, Everly’s just as entranced by her movie star papa as we are.

Chan’s wife (and former Step Up co-star) Jenna Dewan-Tatum is on the cover of January’s Ocean Drive magazine, and she gives the mag, via E! Online, an inside look into the precious father-daughter relationship.

The 22 Jump Street star is often traveling for work, and Jenna says she and Everly use FaceTime as a way to stay connected. "She absolutely can recognize him and touches the phone," the proud mom reveals.

As for Channing’s personality around his daughter, Jenna refers to him as “Mr. Play Funtime Dad." Jenna has previously said that Chan beatboxes to help calm Everly when she’s crying or upset. Now, she shares even more details about Channing’s great parenting.

"Every time he comes in, he's singing to her. He holds her and dances around and she's laughing. She literally lights up when he walks in the room."

Okay, so if that didn’t make you melt into a puddle on the floor, we’re not sure what will. Channing and Everly’s relationship sounds practically perfect.
