Gisele Bundchen’s daughter Vivian Lake just took a ride with mommy on an ATV in Costa Rica. There’s just one thing: The celebrity baby wasn’t wearing a helmet!

TMZ has a photo of Gisele, 33, and little Viv — who just turned a year old on December 5 — on their epic 4-wheeler adventure. While we’re all for mother-daughter bonding, we’re pretty sure that basic safety precautions like helmets are a necessity. See the photo on TMZ.

In the photo, the Brazilian model is seen riding helmet-free atop a red ATV on the beach. She has one hand on the steering, one hand holding her blonde-haired tot. Granted, the two don’t appear to be moving at fast speeds, but still. Aren’t two hands necessary for driving?

Gisele isn’t the first celebrity to draw concern for a similar issue. Back in 2012, pro skateboarder Tony Hawk took his then four-year-old daughter boarding helmet-free. Then, this October, Pink’s daughter Willow, 2, joined her BMX racing pro papa on a motorbike...also helmet-free. Both incidents got a large amount of backlash.

Vivian is Gisele’s second child with her NFL star husband, Tom Brady. The couple married in February 2009 and welcomed son Benjamin, now four, that December. No word yet on that little guy’s helmet-wearing habits...
