Jaden Smith went skydiving recently, which is awesome but little Jaden Smith is just 15 years old! And the only reason we even know he went skydiving? His mom showed off photos on Facebook!

But as TMZ points out, most skydiving centers require participants to be 18 years old. With parental consent, you are allowed to jump as young as 16. Jaden clearly has his mom’s consent, but he’s still only 15.

“Jaden jumping from a plane. Life. Happy Super Bowl Sunday,” Jada Pinkett-Smith wrote on Facebook on February 2. The photo shows her Karate Kid star son attached to a skydiving pro, suspended in midair before the two begin their tandem descent back to earth.

The eldest son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jaden has been starring in movies since he was eight. He made his debut in The Pursuit of Happyness, and was most recently seen in After Earth (co-starring with his dad in both films).

When we were 15, our mom threw a fit if we wanted to go to the mall alone. So jumping off a plane from thousands of feet in the air? That probably wouldn’t have gone over too well.

Do you agree with Jada’s decision to let her son go skydiving? Head below to share your thoughts.
