This TLC singer’s “Baby-Baby-Baby” is all grown up! T-Boz — whose real name is Tionne Tenese Watkins — welcomed daughter Chase Anela Rolison in August of 2000. That means her little baby girl is now officially a teenager!
Chase, 13, is growing up into quite a gorgeous young lady. (Though, given who her mother is, is that really any surprise?) The teen joined her famous mama at the American Music Awards, and she took to Instagram to share an adorable mother-daughter selfie of the two hanging out backstage. “Good luck on stage tonight mom @therealtboz,” she wrote.
With her shimmery pink eye makeup, black dress, and pretty pink pout, Chase definitely got all glammed up for the occasion. And why shouldn’t she? The 13-year-old is practically music royalty. Not only is her mama a TLC frontwoman, but her dad is rapper Mack 10 (real name Dedrick D'Mon Rolison), whom T-Boz was married to for almost four years before filing for divorce in June 2004.
If you’ve seen CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, then you’ve already gotten a chance to see Chase show off her acting chops. The 2013 TV biographical film starred Keke Palmer as Chilli, Lil Mama as Left Eye, and Drew Sidora as T-Boz. But Chase appeared in the film, too, playing the young version of her mom’s character.
Pretty good casting choice if you ask us. After all, the mother-daughter resemblance is pretty hard to miss!
