A new royal baby has just arrived! Princess Madeleine of Sweden and American husband Christopher O'Neill have welcomed their first child.
Princess Madeleine, 31, gave birth to a baby girl on February 20 in NYC, according to People. The child's name has not been made public at this time.
"The Office of the Marshal of the Realm is delighted to announce that H.R.H. Princess Madeleine gave birth to a daughter on Feb. 20, 2014, at 10:41 p.m. local time New York," reads the family's statement. "Both mother and child are in good health."
Madeleine is the daughter of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia. Madeleine married American banker Christopher in June 2013 in Stockholm, and they currently living in NYC. They announced the pregnancy in September.
Madeleine is fourth in line to the Swedish throne. Ahead of Madeleine in line for the throne are her sister, Crown Princess Victoria; her niece, Princess Estelle; and her brother, Prince Carl Philip.
