It’s a girl for NFL star Eric Decker and his country singer wife Jessie James. The attractive celebrity couple announced they were expecting back at the end of September and now, six months later, a little baby girl has officially joined the family!
A rep for the couple tells E! News 25-year-old Jessie headed to the hospital at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 17, and as of 5:36 a.m. today (March 18) she’s a new mom!
“Vivianne Rose Decker was born, weighing 8 lbs., 2 oz. with a full head of hair!” the rep tells E!. “Both mom and daughter are doing well.”
Measuring in at 20 inches, the little girl seemed like she was on her way last Friday with her anxious mama-to-be tweeting, “Just to update y'all! In early labor still and major contractions. Lots of pain... Hoping to have this baby girl in the next day or so!”
It wasn’t until St. Patrick’s Day, however, that Jessie’s luck would turn. “Lots of tears, nerves, smiles, and excitement! Just so anxious to meet our baby girl :))),” Jessie captioned a picture of herself in a hospital bed, looking particularly flawless for a lady in the middle of labor.
And in case you were worried dad Eric didn’t make it home after Jessie’s tweet last Wednesday telling him to “hurry up and get on a place,” don’t worry. The one photo we have of baby Vivianne comes direct from Dad.
