Some guys think a woman is even sexier when she's pregnant. Other guys, as Kristin Cavallari put it, get "a little weirded out." Apparently her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, is in the latter group.
The Laguna Beach, The Hills and Dancing With the Stars alum is pregnant with their second son — due in May — and she opened up about Baby #2 in Fit Pregnancy's new issue.
“Sex is funny when you’re pregnant," she said (via People). "Guys get weird about it. I’m like, ‘Oh Jay, the baby’s kicking!’ And he’s like, not wanting to know about it.” What, during sex? Well, yeah, some people might see that as breaking the mood a bit.
Kristin, 27, added that it's “important for women to realize — if your guy is a little weirded out but isn’t good at expressing that, it can be isolating." Yeah, no woman wants to be made to feel unattractive. You made her this way, buddy! She stressed communication but added that "lingerie always helps too."
Not everything has to be sexual, though, and she said it's just important to make time for the relationship, like taking a bath together and talking or having date nights. She and Jay, 30, like to go out to dinner together, although "not as often as we’d like, but we do our best. Just putting a cute outfit on is a thrill for me.”
Kristin added that she and Jay are glad to be having kids when they're still young, and when the kids go off to college they can travel and do whatever they want. What they don't want is to be on another reality show, although Kristin said they get offers all the time. "Family is so sacred, why mess with that?” Well, she doesn't seem to have any trouble sharing intimate details of their sex lives with the public, so how is a reality show that different?
Do guys get weird about pregnancy sex, in your experience? Is this the kind of thing you'd be fine about sharing with the world, to make other women feel less isolated, or would you feel like it's TMI?
