It was as if the ‘90s gods heard our prayers! Tia Mowry-Hardict recently revealed to OKMagazine.com that she’d totally be down for a Sister, Sister movie, and right before we could weep in joy, she made sure to rule out the possibility of her 2-year-old son, Cree, making an appearance in the dream film.
“It’s so funny because I’m so protective about Cree acting,” Tia explained. “I would be a hypocrite to say if I didn’t want him to be on television because that’s what his parents do for a living, but I would love him to be a lot older.”
So you mean there’s hope! The Instant Mom star went on to tell OKMagazine.com that should the time ever come when Cree says he wants to follow in his parent’s footsteps, she would totally be supportive. “Once he’s able to tell me and really understand what he’s saying and say, ‘Mommy I want to act,’ then I wouldn’t mind. But I want to protect him from that as it stands right now.”
That’s fair, Tia. After all, Cree is only two and has plenty of time to devote to television, should be make that his career path. Till that time comes, Cree is pretty busy with adorable playdates with aunt Tamera Mowry-Housley’s son, Aden. And you never know, maybe one day soon he’ll also have a brother or sister to play with. We can only dream!
