We’re all for the conscious uncoupling fad that’s sweeping Hollywood (whatever’s best for the kids!) but we’ve got to raise our eyebrows at one particular A-list couple: Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom.
Let’s put aside how unbelievably attractive a pair these two make and just consider all they’ve said about one another since announcing their split back in October 2013. It’s honestly the nicest celebrity breakup we’ve ever seen, as the two — who married in 2010 — have remained friendly and in each other’s lives since the breakup.
Of course, a main reason for that unity is their 3-year-old son, Flynn. Talking to Harper’s Bazaar U.K. for the June 2014 edition, the model mama says she likes “to be direct” and says her son can be a shade “bossy” too.
She and Orlando, though, seem just fine. “We are very good. We speak every day,” she says (via E! News). “We’re really close, we’re going to be a family forever, and we both really do love each other.”
And the praise for her ex doesn’t end there. “We have genuine love and respect for each other,” Miranda says. “We’re very connected and I feel grateful for that. We created something beautiful together and we both remind ourselves how lucky we are to have that. And yeah, it’s good. He’s a great dad. I’m lucky.”
Talk about well adjusted! Who’s your guys’ therapist because we know a few pairs in Hollywood that could use that number...
What do you make of Miranda’s praise? Think they’ll get back together or are just really good at being friends?
