Drew Barrymore was obviously an experienced mom when she welcomed her second daughter, Frankie, to her family in April. But when her first baby, Olive, was born? Total freakout.

And can we blame her? The process of having a baby is, on its own, pretty scary — and if you’ve never done it before, we can imagine it’s even worse.

“The first time, I was really nervous the whole time,” Drew revealed to E! News. “I definitely chose my battles. I don’t like to bother people. If it was something important or I was really worried, of course, I would call the doctor. But I was not that patient. I would just quietly panic inside.”

Oh no! That doesn’t sound like very much fun at all. Thankfully, though, everything turned out all right, and when it came time for Frankie to make her grand entrance, Drew and her husband, Will Kopelman, were prepared and knew exactly what to expect from childbirth.

And for the 18-month-old Olive? If we had to guess, we’d say she’s loving being a big sister, especially since she’s been excited for her new younger sibling’s arrival for awhile now.

“She’s actually feeding her little baby doll with the bottle so that’ll be good practice,” Drew said before Frankie was born. “Maybe she’ll be able to feed her sister. She just really loves babies and kids.”

We can’t wait to see photos of Drew’s growing family in action!
