Who could forget the incomparable Steve Irwin? Aside from fighting off crocodiles and other dangerous animals, he was a devoted and loving father to his two children — daughter Bindi and son Robert. Sadly, Steve’s tragic death in 2006 took him away too soon. Since then, Bindi has taken on his role and we have to admit, she’s doing a pretty good job for a teen!

The 15-year-old can be found hitting up multiple talk shows — not to mention making heads turn on the red carpet — all while continuing her father’s work in animal conservation and preaching his advice: “Treat animals the way you want to be treated.”

In between her busy teenage life, it’s safe to say that this little girl still misses her dear old dad. Just this week, Bindi took to Twitter to share a rare snapshot of her father, and it was too cute to not pass along.

“Just found this photo. I was 5 years old. Dad teaching me how to ride a motorbike for the first time. Takes me back,” she captioned the photo. How sweet!

Bindi recently opened up to E! Online about her late father, and discussed how dedicated both she, mother Terri, and brother Robert are to keeping Steve’s work alive.

"He was the greatest dad on the planet,” Bindi says. “He was our inspiration, who we looked up to the most and, for us, we wanna carry on his legacy. We wanna make sure that his message of wildlife and conservation continues because he was the world's greatest conservationist and so we never want that message to die."

With a girl like Bindi, we have no doubts that Steve’s message will never die. Keep up the good work, Bindi!
