It looks like The Fosters actress, Sherri Saum, is twinning these days! The 39-year-old and her husband of more than five years, Kamar de los Reyes, welcomed their twin boys, John Rubén and Michael Luís, on May 13.
The couple’s rep confirmed the happy news to People saying, “Everyone is healthy and strong and Sherri and Kamar are over the moon!” Baby John Rubén “weighed 5 lbs., 7 oz., while his brother Michael Luís weighed in at 5 lbs., 15 oz.” Sounds like a healthy family!
Sherri and her husband revealed the news of their pregnancy late last year, and were caught off guard by the fact Sherri was actually expecting two babies instead of one.
“We were like, ‘Awesome — a baby!’ And then the next ultrasound the doctor said, ‘Uh … looks like there’s a freeloader in there hiding,’” Sherri explained to Access Hollywood (via People) this past January. Talk about a surprise!
We’re sure the family is adjusting just fine to life with twins. Besides, Sherri has done her fair share of mommy-preparation well before their big debut. “I’ve been reading Twins Sleep Training,” she recently told People. “I’m also going to read The Happiest Baby on the Block.”
She added, “[They're] my first children, so I’m not going to know anything different. It’s going to be easy and breezy.”
We can’t wait to get meet these little guys, we’re sure they’re just as stunning as Sherri. Congratulations to the new family!
