ICYMI, Olivia Wilde recently made her red carpet debut during the 2014 CFDA Awards just six weeks after giving birth to her first son, Otis Alexander. What's more? She looked amazing doing it. The actress showed off her post-baby body in a vintage Mollie Parnis gown, which was previously worn by Anjelica Huston in 1974.

The 30-year-old also happy to attend the fashion fête with her dapper plus one: shoe designer Stuart Weitzman. "This is really my first time coming out since I gave birth," Olivia tells E! Online. "I thought what a wonderful event to come out to, what a wonderful date to have."

The actress went on to add, "The great thing about being a modern mother is that you can balance having fun and being a great mom." Did you hear that, Gwyneth Paltrow? Even if you're an actress or a "9-5" mom, you can still balance your career and life as a hands-on mother. We're sure Angelina Jolie is slow clapping towards Olivia's general direction.

But Olivia was quick to say that she didn't learn this "balance" by herself. She was lucky enough to have her own mother show her! "I had a great example of that in my own mom. She went to a lot of good parties, so here I am following in her footsteps." Looks like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Olivia and her fiancé, Jason Sudeikis, welcomed their first child together back in May, and have since taken to doting on little Otis. In fact, Olivia has been quick to share her experiences with Twitter, and let's just say, they're enough to keep you entertained for hours.

We're glad that this year's CFDAs were "fun" for the actress, and nothing like the Met Gala party she had at home. "This year, instead of attending the Met Gala, I leaked milk and ate an entire napkin while inhaling a felafel," Olivia tweeted on May 6. Keep the jokes coming, Olivia!
