Adele’s rolling in the dough. Well, actually, her toddler son is.

Little Angelo, who is Adele’s son with boyfriend Simon Konecki, has won a five-figure damage settlement in a case against photo agency Corbis Images UK. The outlet snapped photos of, as Rolling Stone puts it, Angelo’s “milestone moments” including his first family outing and trip to the playground.

Adele’s lawyer, Jenny Afiya, says while the Grammy Award winner accepts and is “extremely grateful” for the attention that comes with her international fame she will not let her son become “public property.” Hence the lawsuit she and Simon brought against Corbis.

It is a matter of profound sadness that many of his milestone moments ... were photographed and published worldwide expressly against his family's wishes," Jenny said. “Adele and Simon never encourage such photos. Quite the opposite.”

She adds, “The parents’ view is that these images were of routine, everyday family occasions which the paparazzi has no right to intrude upon, profit from, and file away in picture libraries for future reference and use.”

The settlement with Corbis specifies the agency will not use the photos again and the monetary damages (a specific number was not released) will be placed in a trust fund for Angelo. He’ll turn 2 this October.
