Hart of Dixie star Jaime King has the heart of a lion to not only go through what she did to bring her son into the world, but to share the experience with others.
Jaime, 35, and her director husband, Kyle Newman, welcomed son James last October. She previously told ABC News her baby was such a blessing, especially since it took her so long to get pregnant. Jaime expanded on that topic this week, through a candid Instagram post.
The post was captioned, "For all the women out there who think they are alone in this #youarenotalone #ihavetobebravetosupportothers #realtalkthatterrifiesus."
Here's the full text:
"For all the struggling women & mom's out there who think they are alone - This is truth about conceiving my son and struggles after 8 yrs of pain & undiagnosed PCOS & Endometriosis. 9 doctors until Dr. Randy Harris diagnosed me & saved my life from a severe ectopic, 5 miscarriages, 5 rounds of IVF, 26 IUIs, most with no outcome, 4-1/2 years of trying to conceive, 26 hours of brutal labor, early delivery b/c of sudden preeclampsia, tearing and tearing after the stitches were in once I was home, milk supply issues, painful mastitis, uncontrollable crying while breastfeeding, worked until day before I have birth and went back after 6 weeks because I was afraid of letting others down."
Wow. She’s a strong mama, for sure! Commenters thanked Jaime for bravely sharing her story, and giving them the confidence to share their own struggles. You can read them here.
At least baby James seems happy and healthy. As Jaime told ABC News back in May, "This baby was a long time in the making and I feel like the universe put a little extra magic dust in him. He's like the happiest, most joyful, social and loving [baby]." He's her little miracle!
Can you also relate to Jaime’s conception struggles, or do you just appreciate how she reached out to show that no one is really alone with what they’re going through?
