Ever since Kristin Cavallari was caught off-guard by a single question in a recent Fox News interview, her personal decision to not vaccinate her children has come under heavy fire.
The 27-year-old former Hills star shared her stance against vaccines and was immediately thrust into the ring of scrutiny surrounding this particularly hot button issue.
While former Playboy bunny and The View host Jenny McCarthy has become an activist when it comes to the topic of parents going anti-vaccine, even going so far as to place blame on vaccinations in the case of her son’s autism diagnosis, Kristin tells Andy Cohen of Watch What Happens Live she hadn't previously planned on speaking out about her very personal decision.
"I'm just a mom," says Kristin, who is mother of 1-year-old Camden Jack and is expecting her second child with NFL quarterback and husband Jay Cutler. "I'm trying to make the best decision for my kid. There are very scary statistics out there regarding what is in vaccines … We feel like we're making the best decision for our kids."
