Time to order a tiny cowboy hat. Nashville’s getting bigger by one country star: the baby of Holly Williams! For the city folk in the audience, Holly’s the granddaughter of Hank Williams, Sr., the daughter of Hank Williams, Jr., and the half-sister of Hank Williams III. Talk about a royal dynasty!
Despite the fact her name is Holly, not Hank, the 33-year-old has made plenty of waves herself in the country music scene. Her latest album, The Highway, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart last year. She’s also busy keeping her own label, home goods store, and clothing boutique afloat.
Now add mom duties to that to-do list! Holly tells People she and husband Chris Coleman are expecting a little one in just five months time with Holly planning to keep touring through August.
She shared the happy news on, fittingly, Mother’s Day. “@colemantime caught this of me this morning. Think I felt my first kick & I'm not talking about the BB gun!,” she captioned the photo of herself taking aim, baby bump on the rise.
Holly and Chris have been so busy with their respective careers (Chris tours with Kings of Leon) that they weren’t expecting the stork to stop by anytime soon.
“I’ve had so many friends who’ve struggled with infertility issues, so I thought, ‘Well this could take five years,’” Holly tells the magazine. “And it didn’t at all!”
The couple have been married since 2009 and can’t wait to welcome their little one (son or daughter, they’re not telling). “We felt really blessed,” Holly says of the unexpected news she’s pregnant. “It was like the Lord gave us this little miracle.”
