Pop in your VHS copy of Now and Then because we’re about to cruise down memory lane. Actress Gaby Hoffman — who played Samantha, aka the young version of Demi Moore’s same character — is going to be a mother for the first time!
The 32-year-old Girls guest star debuted a growing baby bump at the screening of her upcoming film with Jenny Slate, Obvious Child, in Los Angeles on June 5. People was able to confirm the happy news, and even overheard Gaby exchanging parenting advice with fellow mommy Busy Philipps.
“Gaby was beaming from ear to ear and kept rubbing her belly,” an onlooker tells the publication. “They were chatting and looking over baby pics.” Aww! Mommas helping mommas, you guys.
In fact, we’re sure Gaby can call up her former Now and Then castmate Christina Ricci and talk pregnancy since they’re both expecting for the first time. Christina announced her pregnancy back in May, so these two can’t be too far apart from each other in baby time.
Let’s just imagine the type of reunion they’d have. Better yet, maybe their kids will grow up to become such great friends that they’ll pass a memorable summer together building a treehouse, and visiting a graveyard to perform a seance. Sigh, memories.
Congratulations on your pregnancy, Gaby!
