Time to congratulate Big Bang Theory star Simon Helberg. He and his wife, Jocelyn Towne, are officially parents for the second time!
According to Us Weekly, Simon — who you may know as Howard Wolowitz — and Jocelyn met their son, Wilder Towne Helberg, almost two months ago, but have kept quiet about it until now. Wilder was born on April 23, but Simon’s rep didn’t confirm the good news until Tuesday. Have they ever considered giving lessons on how to keep secrets? We know a lot of celebrities who could benefit from a class on that subject.
Simon first announced the news that he and his wife were expecting a second baby in early 2014 to Entertainment Tonight, when Jocelyn’s baby bump at the 2014 Screen Actor’s Guild Awards was showing too much to ignore. “Yes, my wife is [pregnant],” Simon reluctantly admitted. “I can’t take all the credit.”
Earlier this month, Simon and Jocelyn alluded to their new baby’s birth in a Reddit Q&A, when they said that they “made 2 babies and 2 films in the last 2 years,” but obviously that statement could mean that Jocelyn was still pregnant. Now we know the truth!
Understandably, Simon and Jocelyn like to keep their family life private, as many celebrities with children do. And now they have two young children to worry about: Wilder’s older sister, Adelaide, is only two! We predict Simon and Jocelyn will be pretty tired for awhile.
Congrats, Simon and Jocelyn! Enjoy your new little one!
