Last month, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard made a big announcement: They’re having another baby! The 15-month-old Lincoln is going to be a big sister, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for the couple.
Kristen’s pretty excited, too, but she hasn’t picked out a name yet. She and Dax fell in love with Lincoln’s name instantly, but this time, they’re having trouble coming up with something just as awesome for her sister or brother — mostly because Lincoln takes up most of Kristen’s time. If we’re going with the presidential theme, though, can we suggest Washington? Perhaps Kennedy. That would be so cute!
“It’s hard to take focus off her and think about the second baby, even though the second baby is here and growing,” the 33-year-old Veronica Mars star tells People.
“I’ve never been so interested in anything in my entire life,” Kristen adds. “I have heard parents say that when you have a second child, your love doesn’t divide, it multiplies, so I have confidence that will happen
And since Kristen’s following the recommendation of limiting a child’s TV time when they’re under two years old, Lincoln is the only little girl in America who has yet to see Frozen. But eventually, she will — mostly because Mom’s so proud of her hit movie’s lesson.
“I think it’s great to show kids how great it can be to love through fear, to love someone even when they’re afraid to love themselves,” Kristen says. “That’s a huge message I want to teach my kids: You’re allowed to be afraid, but you have to know why… and you have to try to love beyond that fear.”
Lincoln will have infinite amounts of kid street cred when she goes to elementary school as the daughter of a Disney princess — and we will forever be jealous.
