“I’ve been having a lot of morning sickness. They should call it pregnancy sickness because it’s all day, but I’m feeling good today!” she told ABC News. “I’m thanking God for this little life and the good signs. It’s well worth it.”
Helping her adjust to pregnancy is Derick, who’s already proving to be quite the doting dad. He keeps a “pregnancy bag” nearby that’s packed with any and all foods his new wife might find herself hankering for. That includes anything sour like dill pickles and lemons with salt! “I like cold things, too,” Jill adds. “I don’t like a lot of hot meals right now but I do try to get protein every two hours.”
As for whether or not it’ll be a girl or boy joining the already famously large family, Jill’s lips are sealed — until an upcoming new episode of 19 and Counting that is! Since ABC News didn’t specify which installment will share the big reveal, it looks like we’ll have to watch them all!
And don't expect this to be the last pregnancy for Jill. She tells Page Six, “I have loved having lots of brothers and sisters and although Derick comes from a family with just one brother, both of us would love to have as many children as God will give us. We are also open to the possibility of adoption.”
