Update (1:00 p.m. PST):

Hold up! E! News claims Wayne and Chilli are nothing but friends with Chilli’s rep reportedly telling the entertainment outlet Wayne wasn’t playing the doting boyfriend at the MGM event last Friday; he was the host!

“Chilli and Wayne are friends but there is nothing else going on besides friendship,” the rep tells E! before revealing which A-lister Chilli actually has her eye on: Chris Pine.

“As a matter of fact, Chilli happens to be a PINE NUT’ so if you all want to play matchmaker Chris Pine is definitely what Chilli wants.” We’ll be sure to let him know.

Wayne Brady has reportedly found himself a new duet partner! The entertainer and crooning cast member of Whose Line Is It Anyway? is dating Chilli of TLC, according to Us Weekly.

Although it’s a new relationship (supposedly just two weeks old), 41-year-old Wayne and 42-year-old Chilli reportedly got cozy while at a January 3 private party at the Las Vegas MGM.

“They were so cute, stopping to take pictures with fans,” a source tells Us of the duo’s evening out. “He kept her close to him the whole time.” Maybe because she was — wait for it — chilly?

Chilli, whose real name is Rozonda Thomas, even gave her supposed new beau a shoutout during the night’s events, bringing him on stage while her and Lil Mama performed during the private MGM party.

“They really like each other,” adds the Us source (and total fan of the new romance). “They’ve been friends for years but there has always been this flirtation.” Us adds that the couple have reportedly given the whole dating thing a try once before, hitting pause after only a few weeks together last year “due to their busy schedules.”

But now it sounds as if they’ve decided to try again!

“Both of them had a hard time being single, so they love dating a friend and someone in the business,” the Us insider explains. “They make a really great couple.”

Previously Wayne was married to Diana Lasso from 1993 to 1995, and then to Mandie Taketa until they divorced in 2007. The couple have a 10-year-old daughter together. As for Chilli, she dated Usher for three years before they split in 2004.
