Elizabeth Olsen is engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Boyd Holbrook, according to an Us Weekly report. While that’s awesome news, it comes at a pretty interesting time. Elizabeth’s older sister, Mary-Kate Olsen, just got engaged to her longtime boyfriend about two weeks ago! Uh, copycat much?
Mary-Kate, 27, got engaged to her French boyfriend Olivier Sarkozy, 44 — half-brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy — back in late February. Now, sources are confirming to Us Weekly that her little sis is also ready to tie the knot.
Elizabeth, 25, and Boyd, 32, just got back from a romantic trip to Paris, and it sounds like their visit to the City of Love was quite eventful. "They've been by each other for a while, taking a lot of couple time," another source tells the mag. In fact, a different insider says the two have already been living together in Brooklyn for a few months.
The littlest Olsen and her rumored actor fiancé met in 2012 on the set of their movie Very Good Girls. There’s no word yet as to when the couple plans to wed... or if Mary-Kate and Olivier will beat them down the aisle. One thing we can most likely rule out? A double wedding. Having a twin, M-K’s had to share a lot of things in her life. We’re willing to bet that sharing a wedding isn’t something she’d be up for!
Speaking of her twin, Ashley Olsen recently started dating Bennett Miller, the 47-year-old Oscar-nominated director of Capote and Moneyball. As far as we know, there’s been no talk of an engagement quite yet. And you know what? We’re fine with that. Because three engagements really would be too much.
