Update (October 9, 2013): People has exclusive photos from the affair, which reveal that Jackson Rathbone wore a top hat and a tartan jacket for the big day, looking very much like a circus ringleader — which perfectly fit with the carnival-themed celebration set at the Saddle Peak Lodge in Calabasas, California.
Jackson’s new wife Sheila Hafsadi added a new band on to her vintage wedding ring and Jackson's ring finger bore a David Yurman creation.
Later, a sword-swallower entertained the 150 or so guests at the reception, while Jackson and Sheila cut a rug to a Ramones song for their first dance.
Original story (October 1, 2013):
Take out your fan photo books and weep, Twihards, because another dreamy vampire is off the market. On Sunday, September 29, Jackson Rathbone — aka Jasper Hale, the blood-thirstiest of the Cullen clan — married girlfriend Sheila Hafsadi, Us Weekly reports.
The ceremony took place in Malibu, California, multiple sources reported to the magazine. “It was a small wedding. Just close friends and family only,” a friend said.
Now for the important question: Were any of his vampire coven in attendance? We’re not sure, though we like to think that the whole Cullen family was lurking close by, while the wolves hung out in the surrounding forests. But one guest who was likely there is 15-month-old Monroe Jackson Rathbone VI, who was born on July 5, 2012. The little one shares his papa’s impressive, strong name and is the first kid for both Jackson and Sheila.
Gorgeous actor Jackson met his new bride while out in the wild, so to speak — he was on tour with his rock band, 100 Monkeys. She’s a burlesque dancer, and the two connected during one of the stops on his tour. We’d love to learn how she caught his eye. Twilight fans everywhere would, really.
Since the franchise wrapped in 2012, Jackson has starred on web series Aim High with Friday Night Lights’s Aimee Teegarden, and has several movies in the works — including The Concerto with Pretty Little Liars star Janel Parrish. No matter where he goes professionally, it’s nice to think that Jackson has a real life Alice to come home to.
Congratulations to the happy family!
