Rapper, music producer, and fashion designer Pharrell Williams married model and designer Helen Lasichanh on October 12, according to People.
The couple exchanged vows at the Kampong National Tropical Botanical Gardens and were reportedly wearing tartan plaid outfits.
Prior to the ceremony, they were photographed on a boat by iconic fashion photographer Terry Richardson. And what's a better place to take important photographs than on a boat as it rocks back and forth?
"Usher and Busta Rhymes did a mini concert at the wedding," a source tells Us Weekly. "It was so fun. The little concert was amazing. It [was] the most fun wedding I've ever been to."
Pharrell, 40, and Helen — who are rumored to have actually tied the knot during a secret ceremony in France in August — have been together for more than five years, and their son, Rocket, is four years old. Suddenly, we're wishing our name were Rocket.
This exciting news follows what has been an incredible summer for Pharrell. He produced the biggest song of the summer, Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," and he produced and sings on what was probably the second biggest song of the summer, Daft Punk's "Get Lucky." Not too shabby.
Pharrell, who is part of the rap-rock group N.E.R.D. and was a mentor on The Voice last season, has produced a seriously insane number of smash hits over the years, including Justin Timberlake's "Rock Your Body," Snoop Dogg's "Drop It Like It's Hot," and Kelis's "Milkshake." C'mon, you know you were loving "Milkshake" back in 2004. Admit it.
Congrats to the happy family! Or to quote his recent hit: Hey, hey, hey!
