Former Boy Meets World star Rider Strong is now a married man after tying the knot with actress Alexandra Barreto, according to Us Weekly. The pair exchanged vows in Oregon on the afternoon of October 20.
The couple had a summer camp-themed wedding, with all the guests sleeping in bunks after the ceremony. Other features of the ceremony included a ropes course, talent show, and games for the guests. Too cute!
Alexandra wore a Nicole Miller wedding gown, and Rider — who more recently has appeared in episodes of Bones and Castle, along with the movie Cabin Fever — wore a suit by Rag & Bone. The bridesmaids wore skirts and chambray shirts with boots and brown belts.
"[I'm] incredibly lucky to be getting married to my best friend and partner-in-crime, Alexandra Barreto," Rider said before the wedding. "We're tying the knot at a summer camp in Oregon."
Oddly, Rider got married on the exact same weekend as former Boy Meets World co-star Danielle Fishel, who married Tim Belusko yesterday. So some of his chums from the show were unable to attend Rider's nuptials.
"Bad news: Danielle Fishel's getting married this same weekend, so I'm missing some of my Boy Meets World family (that was my fault, she chose the date first)," Rider sadly explains. Talk about bad timing!
Among the famous faces who did attend Rider and Alexandra's ceremony were The Following star Natalie Zea and Scrubs actor Travis Schuldt. Rider and Alexandra met on the set of the now-defunct show Pepper Dennis.
Rider played Corey's best pal Shawn on the beloved Boy Meets World, and we keep hoping that he'll pop up on the Girl Meets World spinoff, although no such plans have been announced as of yet.
Congrats to Rider and Alexandra — and to Danielle and Tim, too!
