The Hollywood Hills are alive with the sound of wedding bells, and we’re all getting in shape for the big walk down the aisle. But we’re not the only ones guzzling kale shakes and doing crunches like it’s our job. Recently, it seems like everyone famous is getting hitched — or making plans to — and we couldn’t be more ready to throw the rice for these famous twosomes. Plus, that thing about getting in shape ourselves was a lie, so, here’s what we’ve got:
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
Is it going to be ostentatious? Absolutely, we’d be disappointed if it wasn’t. And considering they got engaged via a quarter-million-dollar proposal, it’s not like they can get married in the church around the corner.
Will it be televised? We’re thinking probably, considering the Keeping Up With the Kardashians cameras follow Kim most places. Will North be propelled forward on a hovercraft as a ring bearer for the couple, or propped on the shoulders of some diamond-encrusted puppies? Oh please, yes. Please please please.
Once Upon a Time’s Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas
You guys, Prince Charming and Snow White are getting married in real life! Can we get over that? Nope, never. The Once Upon a Time stars are now confirmed as both an on-screen OTP, and an IRL endgame. So, basically, stars are aligned and we all have a chance for a happy ending fairytale. And Josh in a tux? Sold.
The Bachelor’s Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici
The couple is getting hitched on January 26, 2014, live on television. Can you imagine the joy that we feel about this? Okay, that, but more. Way more joy. In fact, we’re basically planning on filling the whole office with roses, renting a Chris Harrison look-alike, and playing the entirety of their love story in a pieced-together montage over a jumbotron. We’ll have to consult Kanye on this one.
The Bachelorette’s Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried
They fell in love on television, look beautiful together, and basically haven’t met a tabloid story they didn’t laugh off. Plus, with the Season 9 groom’s penchant for rhymes, we’re hoping the entire ceremony will just be one long rhyming couplet. And according to the latest word, they’re definitely in talks to make it happen sooner or later.
The Hills’ Lauren Conrad and William Tell
Natasha Bedingfield will rewrite the song “Unwritten,” everyone will finally address the fact that LC isn’t marrying “law student William Tell,” but actually “Former Something Corporate Member William Tell,” and Spencer and Heidi will book a gig cutting the ribbon at a new Walmart that day, because they totally don’t even want to come. Plus, it should definitely be on TV and feature Lo giving LC some real talk pre-wedding.
Nashville’s Hayden Panettiere and Boxer Wladimir Klitschko
Just imagine the varied heights of the wedding guests at Hayden and Wlad’s hitching. It’s going to look like a Disney movie come to life, especially if Hay-Hay takes a cue from onscreen glamour queen (well, Season 1 anyway) Juliette Barnes, and wears a gown made entirely of sequins. It’ll be a knockout.
Glee’s Naya Rivera and Rapper Big Sean
Our money’s on Naya for the hottest wedding dress of the year. With her banging body and thing for high fashion, she’s going to look amazing. Oh yeah, and Big Sean. She loves that guy and their relationship is fascinating, so good for them.
