Kate Upton just received a marriage proposal from an entertainer who used to spending a lot of time in the spotlight. So did she yes?

The lovely model attended an Orlando Magic basketball game on February 7 with boyfriend and pro baseball star Justin Verlander. But Justin wasn't the one who popped the question.

Actually, it was the Magic's mascot, Stuff. When Justin, 30, briefly left her seat during the game, Stuff seized the moment, proposing to Kate, 21, with a gigantic ring.

As you might have guessed, the proposal was a joke, but Stuff did indeed give Kate a gigantic ring.

"Thanks @STUFF_mascot for the proposal tonight!" Kate captions a pic (above) of herself holding the ring. "Great game!"

And Stuff seemed to be optimistic about his future with Kate. "She didn't say yes... and she didn't say no... so you're saying there's a chance!" he tweets, paraphrasing a quote from Dumb and Dumber.

Then, Justin couldn't help but get involved in the discussion. "I was gone for 5 seconds!!" Justin tweets.

And Stuff replies, "@JustinVerlander when you got it, you got it... sorry Verlander... boo thang--> @KateUpton." Ha! Stuff definitely has got some game.

Do you think it's inappropriate that the mascot proposed to Kate during the game?
