Two more handsome men are officially off the market!
Designers Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent were married on Saturday, May 3, at the New York Public Library, their reps told People. It was a wedding for the books!
Nate, 42, wore a J.Crew suit, and Jeremiah, 29 wore Saint Laurent, People noted. They exchanged identical gold bands from Van Cleef & Arpels. The 220 guests included Oprah Winfrey, Rachael Ray, Katie Lee, Rebecca Minkoff, Irene Neuwirth, Busy Philipps and Elizabeth Hendrickson from The Young and the Restless.
Orpah even tweeted after the wedding: "Just left @NateBerkus wedding to his partner Jeremiah.I felt the shift. #anewdayhascome." Oprah felt the shift! That has to be good.
After the wedding ceremony, there was a performance by a favorite choir of Nate's, the Gospel for Teens/ The Mama Foundation for the Arts. Marjorie Gubelman, aka DJ Mad Marj, was DJ at the after-party, and singer Estelle gave a special performance of "American Boy."
Nate and Jeremiah got engaged in April 2013 at the top of Machu Picchu in Peru, after having dated for around nine months. Author Nate was a regular guest on Oprah Winfrey’s show, and he's now host of American Dream Builders. Jeremiah is a former assistant to stylist Rachel Zoe and appeared on her show, The Rachel Zoe Project.
Grumpy Cat was probably not at the wedding, but they hung out with her at Watch What Happens Live and Jeremiah shared the pic on April 29, so maybe she was there in spirit. Even Grumpy Cat might have to smile for these happy newlyweds. Congrats, guys!
