In case you’ve missed the news, something amazing happened last week: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie finally tied the knot after nearly ten years together! And although we don’t have all the details just yet, we can finally answer one of our most burning questions. Thanks to the couple’s cover of People, we can now see Angelina’s dress!
Unsurprisingly, the 39-year-old Maleficent star kept her wedding day fashion simple — except for her veil, which was decorated with drawings done by her children. How adorable is that?! And according to the newlyweds, their children were involved in every other aspect of their big day, too.
“It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter,” Angelina and Brad said. “It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family.”
And share with their children they did! Not only did 10-year-old Pax bake the wedding cake, but he and his 13-year-old brother walked their mom down the aisle. The rest of the kids were also involved in the ceremony as ring bearers and flower girls. And the vows? They helped with those, too.
Luigi Massi, a master designer at Atelier Versace, helped the couple out by sewing the kids’ illustrations into the veil — and there were a lot of them.
“Luigi is like family to me and I couldn’t imagine anyone else making this dress,” Angelina said. “He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together.”
Congrats, Brad and Angelina! Now we’re going to need a full 360 view of that veil so we can admire the kids’ artwork like it deserves.
