Actress Casey Wilson and Happy Endings show creator David Caspe are engaged, reports Us Weekly! The news broke after Casey aired her stunning new engagement ring during a pre-Emmys party in Beverly Hills, California, on September 20.

As it turns out, however, the couple have actually been engaged since Memorial Day weekend with the 32-year-old Casey telling Us Weekly, "He proposed with a beautiful family ring the first night we spent in our new house. I was, of course, crying slash wailing and then my dad and brother and his family came up the driveway and then everybody was cry/wailing. It was very special. A perfect night."

We guess we shouldn't be so surprised the couple kept the news to themselves for so long. They're pretty good at keeping secrets having worked together on the ABC series Happy Endings from 2011 to 2013 and keeping their relationship under wraps the whole time. Although their TV series was canceled by ABC earlier this year, Casey and David seem determined to get their happy ending no matter what. Congratulations to the couple!

We just hope Ian Somerhalder of The Vampire Diaries isn't too upset by the news. After all, Casey did lick his face that one time.
