Grammy Award-winning artist John Legend and his new bride Christine Teigen practically ooze romance. The couple were married less than a month ago on September 14 on the shores of Lake Como, Italy, and ever since have been flooding our Twitter feeds with adoring photos of one another. We love it, we love them, we love love.
While abroad in Italy, John and Chrissy decided to shoot a music video for his tune, “All Of Me,” aka the best new wedding song we’ve heard since Jason Mraz’s “I Won’t Give Up.” To make the project even more special, the video's director, Nabil, was the person who introduced John and Chrissy in the first place!
In the video, the happy couple prove they’re hardly ordinary people as they lounge around a breathtaking Italian villa. When not eating citrus fruits and staring into one another’s eyes, the pair jet along Lake Como and wear fabulous clothes. All that’s missing is a cameo by fellow Como lover George Clooney, who also owns a mansion on the lake.
There is one scene in the video that does look slightly familiar. The in bed sequence of a tousled, naked Chrissy wrapped around John looks to be when Mrs. Legend had that one topless photo taken. Equally steamy in “All Of Me” are the shower scenes where we see almost all of John and Chrissy.
After we’ve cooled off and John’s beautiful five-minute long serenade is drawing to a close, the newlyweds give us a little extra bit of romance by sharing personal video footage from their wedding. It’s an intimate, touching look at their first kiss as man and wife that makes us want to hug everyone.
John and Chrissy, our marriage advice for you two: When you get into your next big fight, just watch this video.
