Kate Gosselin may have already opted for a more simple life since having her dirty laundry aired for the entire world during her days on Jon and Kate Plus 8, but she claims in a new interview that she’d be up for another round with the press, should her children ever choose to tell their stories.
RadarOnline.com reports that, in a recent interview with Memphis radio station WMC-FM, the mother of eight revealed that she’d support her kids if they wanted to spill the details about growing up in their tumultuous houshold.
While Kate said that much of what the press says about the family is “untrue” — Jon’s new gig waiting tables and recent gunslinger impression notwithstanding — she says she’s “fine if the kids wanted to write a tell-all book.”
Although these days, she’s more concerned about getting her kids off to school on time than regaining her former notoriety, she says that she’s not in the market for a stepdad for her huge family.
“I don’t have time to search for a new partner. It would have to be by accident that I meet someone,” she says.
Despite the problems that have come along with fame, she insists that her kids have weathered the storm better than she and her ex-husband, who are still at odds with one another.
“They are normal kids,” claims Kate.
However, despite their resilience, she never hopes to change another diaper as long as she lives.
“Eight truly is enough,” she says. “Never in a million years would I have more kids.”
