Jessica Alba must have more than 24 hours per day: Not only is she an A-list movie star and a mother of two, she's also a budding entrepreneur, having founded The Honest Co. in January 2012 with Christopher Gavigan (i.e. hubby of Grey's Anatomy star Jessica Capshaw).

As the 32-year-old actress describes in the video below — part of AOL's "Acting Disruptive" series, which focuses on celeb entrepreneurs — The Honest Co. believes that parents should have access to attractive, inexpensive, and eco-friendly products.

"When you all of a sudden become responsible for keeping a little person alive, I think your mindfulness about the world completely shifts," she explains. "I looked at the options that were available, and really you could have very eco products that didn't really work and were ugly and expensive, or you could have effective products that might burn your baby's bum."

She continues: "Basically I started this company out of a need that I felt wasn't being met. You could have superior ingredients and superior products, as far as effectiveness goes, and they can be cute, and they can be affordable.

One of The Honest Co.'s products is particularly genius: a diaper cake, a cake-shaped gift basket of diapers, and other baby care products.

"I had this harebrained idea of what's the ultimate baby shower gift?" she recounts. "It obviously has to be cute but I also want it to be functional."

Check and check, Jessica!
