We could hardly contain our excitement when the Boy Meets World spinoff, Girl Meets World, was officially given the green light by Disney in June. And if you need something to tide you over ‘til the 2014 premiere, the cast reunited for Entertainment Weekly’s reunion issue and reminisced about the good old days.

And better yet, they gathered to film a segment for Good Morning America to promote the issue and share their favorite memories from the Boy Meets World set. Ben Savage (Cory) and Danielle Fishel (Topanga) were there, of course — and they were joined by Rider Strong (Shawn), Will Friedle (Eric), and even William Daniels (Mr. Feeny).

“I don’t think any of us anticipated that after the show went off the air, it was gonna gain in popularity,” Danielle said. “But people still seem to relate to it a lot.”

Our favorite part of the video? William’s story about his crazy Feeny fans.

“A busload of young children spotted me and they started yelling, ‘Mr. Feeny! Mr. Feeny!’ and they came toward me,” he shared. “I’m a coward. I ran. I ran all the way around the block.
