Since witches are all the rage these days and Halloween is a week away, it's only fitting that Disney would stage a mini-reunion of the stars of 1993 cult classic Hocus Pocus in honor of its 20th anniversary.
Unfortunately, stars Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker weren't in attendance, but Kathy Najimy and Thora Birch were on-hand in Burbank, California on October 19 to meet members of Disney's D23 fan club, as this Instagram snapshot shows.
Kathy, Bette, and Sarah played the Sanderson sisters in the movie, three witches resurrected by hapless teenager Max (Omri Katz), who teams up with his sister Dani (Thora Birch) and their classmate Allison (Vinessa Shaw) to confront the unholy trio.
Also in attendance at Saturday's event, as E! Online reports, were Omri — who retired from acting in 2002 — and Vinessa — who has recently appeared in films like Big Miracle and Side Effects.
Thora followed up Hocus Pocus with critically-acclaimed roles in American Beauty and Ghost World during the early 2000s, but her career seems to have been derailed by her overbearing father.
Kathy, meanwhile, may have had the most prolific post-Hocus careers, appearing in 82 TV shows and films since 1993.
In any case, it's clear that fans are still bewitched by the flick, even two decades later.
