Nose jobs are about as common as palm trees in Hollywood. Tons of celebs have undergone a touch of rhinoplasty, but most aren't as open about it as Lisa Kudrow. The Friends star opened up to The Saturday Evening Post about why she decided to go under the scalpel at an early age.

"[The nose job] was life altering. I went from, in my mind, hideous, to not hideous. I did it the summer before going to a new high school. So there were plenty of people who wouldn’t know how hideous I looked before. That was a good, good, good change."

Hey, we can't knock anything that boosts self-confidence, as long as it's safe. And her plastic surgeon clearly did solid work — the Emmy-winning actress's schnoz looks totally natural.

Since ending the landmark NBC sitcom in 2004, Lisa has starred in the critically-adored HBO comedy The Comeback; guest-starred on Friends castmate Courteney Cox's new show, Cougar Town; developed the US version of celeb genealogy series Who Do You Think You Are?; and co-created and took the lead role in the comedic webseries Web Therapy, which has since made the leap to Showtime.

Now 50 — believe it or not! — Lisa's latest TV gig a recurring role on Scandal, and she has a part in the upcoming Zac Efron comedy Neighbors.

She'll always be a Friend to us, though, no matter the shape of her snoot!
