Courteney Cox may have found someone with whom to waste time chasing cars! Life & Style reveals that the 49-year-old actress took Snow Patrol musician Johnny McDaid as her date to a December 8 holiday party hosted by her fellow Friends alum Jennifer Aniston.

"They arrived around 7 p.m. and left together about three hours later," one source tells the site. Another adds, "Courteney definitely looked like she was on a date! They were holding hands during the party."

Johnny is a 37-year-old Northern Irish singer-songwriter who joined Snow Patrol around 2010 — a band whose hit "Chasing Cars" found them international fame, especially after the track was featured (and later covered) on Grey's Anatomy.

And speaking of car-chasing, paparazzis snapped pictures of each celeb driving up to Jen's Bel Air abode — including Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin, Tobey Maguire, Jason Bateman… and a smiling Courtney and Johnny.

Courtney's ex-hubby, David Arquette, drunkenly revealed in October that she was seeing someone new but was apparently just sober enough to know not to reveal who the new guy was.

Rumors circulated that her new musician beau was 22-year-old Ed Sheeran, but he clarified that he's merely living in her beach house. (He's also good friends with Johnny!)

Of course, Courteney's claim to fame nowadays is her starring role on TBS's Cougar Town, but restrain yourself from making the obvious age jokes. A fortysomething dating a thirtysomething does not a cougar make!
