Google has announced its top search terms of 2013 in a variety of categories — but who cares about politics, business, sports, science… All that boring stuff has nothing on the scandalous lives of Hollywood's elite! That's right, we're all about entertainment and celebrity culture 'round these parts, so we were glad to see a ranking of the most-searched individuals.

And the lineup is predictable. While we feel that this year might be the Year of the Lawrence, there's no denying that Miley Cyrus owned 2013, too. The Bangerz singer and her new, oversexed persona are sure to be remembered as part of this year's zeitgeist, so it's only natural that she top this list.

Filing in behind her are Drake, Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Beyonce, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, and Kanye West. We've embedded Google's chart below so that you can explore the full blow-by-blow of these celebs' popularity, but you can probably guess when in the year each celebrity got the most search interest.

For example, Miley's Google rank skyrocketed at the end of August for obvious reasons. Beyonce, meanwhile, got a lot of heat after her epic Super Bowl halftime show and matched that interest just this week with her surprise album release. Kim Kardashian's line graph spikes right around the time she ushered baby North West into the world.

Now excuse while we go Google J.Law a couple million times. Watch out, 2014!
